The ‘new world’ Pope!

So, the new Pope is an Argentinian Jesuit! Be under no illusion, this appointment marks a serious step forward in the march towards a global ‘one-world’ religion possibly headed by a Pope. As related in this article from News That Matters ( from March 2011, all Jesuits are commanded “to cooperate wholeheartedly with all men and women of good will in promoting peace……. through dialogue with those inspired by religious commitment, or who share a sense of transcendence that opens them to universal values.” The Jesuits are traditionally known as the educationalists within the Roman Catholic Church and are very active and missionary in their goal of a ‘universal brotherhood’.

This follows on from the previous Pope, Benedict XVI, who has called for a “true world political authority….with real teeth” in the encyclical teaching letter Caritas in Veritate, or Charity in Truth, and of the Papal goal of achieving a single, global ‘family’:

“Marking the 97th World Day of Migrants and Refugees on Sunday, Pope Benedict XVI spoke of the “migration experience” of the Church and hoped for a future where all people consider themselves part of “one human family.” The goal, he said, is that of “forming a single family … with all the differences that enrich it, but without barriers, recognizing ourselves all as brothers.” Catholic News Agency, January 16, 2013.

The Bible clearly states in the end times there will arise a global dictator who rules a totalitarian regime. This regime will be supported and enabled by a unified global pagan religion, one that no doubt espouses “trancendence” and “universal brotherhood”, headed by a false prophet.

These are themes that I incorporated in the novel ‘Seventy Weeks.’ As Bible-believing Christians, we need to be “watching” these significant developments in the Vatican in the revealing light of Biblical prophecy.
